Traditionally, ink supply systems for inkjet printing relied mainly on the so-called negative pressure control method. However, in recent years, print head manufacturers have been developing circulation-type print heads as their main products to meet the increasing demands for high ejection performance and compatibility with a wide variety of inks. The circulation-type ink supply system differs from the conventional negative pressure type (non-circulating system) in that it involves a technically challenging system where the meniscus negative pressure control at the print head nozzle is linked to circulation conditions.
